There are eight (8) geogrid placement tables given under the tab PLACEMENT TABLES. Four (4) of the tables are given for SRW series 3 geogrid (same as Synteen SF-20) and four (4) tables are given for SRW series 5 geogrid (same as Synteen SF-35). In each set of four (4) there are geogrid placement tables as follows:

· 27 degree friction angle soil with 6 inch tall Maytrx solid stones.

· 30 degree friction angle soil with 6 inch tall Maytrx solid stones.

· 27 degree friction angle soil with 8 inch tall Maytrx core stones.

· 30 degree friction angle soil with 8 inch tall Maytrx core stones.

1 Note the following:

1. The heading of each table details the unit weight and soil type used to develop the table.

2. Disclaimers are given on each table, please read all items.

3. Currently, tables are for 6 inch tall solid and 8 inch tall core Maytrx units only.

If there are three things every builder should understand about SRWs, they are reinforcement, compaction and drainage. Georgrid soil reinforcement is the re-bar of SRWs. Many building codes require permitting for walls taller than 4 feet, which typically results in a design submittal of some form. Furthermore, depending on the size and weight of the SRW unit, geogrid soil reinforcement might be necessary to ensure stability of the entire structure.
